Ease of moving

Prior to travelling to America, you will need to apply for a visa issued by a U.S Embassy or Consulate which permits you to travel from the UK to America. Once this has been obtained, you will need to arrange for a professional removals company to ship all of your belongings over and take care of documentation associated with US customs. Before packing, it is worth taking a look at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website to check which items are prohibited and restricted when entering America.

For any belongings which you want to keep hold of, but will not need in the near future in Colorado, secure storage may be the best solution.
